One of the significant changes is the renaming of the first topic from Simple to Intentional to better reflect the content's focus. Salesforce  also restructured various sections, removing some and integrating others for a more streamlined approach.

Salesforce have renamed several sections to better represent the content within them and updated protocols based on the latest best practices. This includes sections like Use of Encryption, Organizational Security Patterns and Anti-Patterns, and Threat Detection and Response.

Reliable Section Update

The 'Reliable' section has also seen a revamp with

  • Changes in subsections names for improved clarity
  • Merging the 'Scale Testing' section into 'Testing Strategy'
  • Updated protocols in Performance Patterns and Anti-Patterns and Scalability Patterns and Anti-Patterns to deliver up-to-the-minute advice on best practices.

Intentional Behavior

Salesforce renewed focus on 'Intentional Behavior' has led to the restructuring of various subtopics and the addition of new material, particularly in Maintainability Patterns and Anti-Patterns.

Automated Section Interchanges

The 'Automated' section has seen name changes for better clarity. The updates include changes in the guidance provided in sections like Efficiency Patterns and Anti-Patterns and Data Integrity Patterns and Anti-Patterns.

Resilient Redesign
